EARLY MORNING THOUGHTS ...

While sitting in the cab going for office, I was gazing out the window when the R.J says, "The city never stops!". And I question myself, "Is it so? Is it really the city that never stops?", making me lost in my world of thoughts. Some favoring the proposition, while some against it. And the thought process soon converting into the debate consuming me in it.

Is it really the city? No, it is us. It is approximately half past six and here I am going to the office, while some of my friends would be sleeping and dreaming, some still at their workstation working meeting the deadlines while some would be on their way to their homes. Each and every minute, where someone in this city is going for rest and planning to sleep, someone else would be getting ready to face the challenges of life.

Some would have accomplished their dreams, on the contrary, some would have failed and would be planning to start again. Some would even have the thought of giving up, while someone would be going over the past mistakes to rectify them in the future and accomplish his dreams. Some would be enjoying the pleasures of their hard work, while some would be just stepping into the world to prove their worth.

Suddenly, the driver applied breaks and I come out of the world of my thoughts. I realize while I was lost in my thoughts,I have reached the office. And, it's my time now to face the challenges. I thank the driver and he smiles and replies sweetly,"Madam, you are welcome."

I smile and walk towards the lift to start my day, realizing that IT IS US THAT NEVER STOP!!
